General Questions

Wise Owl Academy is open from 8 am to 6 pm on weekdays. We are flexible to open the center earlier if any parents need that.

Wise Owl Academy provides a safe, caring, and learning environment to children from 2 months to 13 years old.

Yes. We do offer part-time or half-day programs. Our preschool programs have flexible times as well as days per week options. Please visit our programs page to view more details.

We have a commercial kitchen with the necessary equipment to provide breakfast, lunch, and other meals to the children. However, this year we are not providing the meals yet as we are still getting settled in the facility. We will provide meals from the next year (2021)

Our school calendar is located here. Apart from the scheduled closures, the center can get closed due to inclement weather in the New England area. We only close the center when the Town of Nashua declares snow emergency. This is for the safety of our staff and the children.

Here are some highlights:

  • Daily temperatures are recorded for each child and staff member.
  • Frequent handwashing procedures under the supervision of a teacher, right after your child’s drop off.
  • Parents are not allowed inside the facility.
  • Individual chair and table, belongings (pencil boxes, play doughs, scissors, glue sticks, etc.) with child’s name tag
  • Frequent sanitization of school furniture, toys, etc.
  • Strict sick child and travel policies

At Wise Owl Academy, the health and safety of all our students and staff members is our top priority. To serve this purpose, all the sick children need to stay and need to be sickness free without medication for at least 48 hours.

Please walk your child to the main door and wait in the doorway for screening. Once you and your child have been screened and show no symptoms of COVID-19, office staff will take your child (along with his/her belongings) to wash their hands before entering the classrooms. Your child will be allowed to enter his/her classroom after that.  During pickup, please wait in the doorway, and a staff member will walk your child outside.

We expect children to be potty trained by the age of 3. But every child is different, and we provide assistance and verbal guidance to the children.

At Wise Owl Academy, we try to encourage children with positive verbal reinforcement. Our teachers have creative ways to work with children. We give children options to choose from rather than make choices for them. At times, when positive encouragement doesn’t work, we give some time to calm down that child and let him/ her get back to activities when they are ready to do so.

Wise Owl Academy offers reasonable tuition rates to the families. We provide flexible times and days. Our tuition is adjusted based on the program, number of days and hours. Please click here to know all the tuition details.

We prefer the online payment using Procare. We also accept checks payable to “Wise Owl Academy”
